The Uganda Women Entrepreneurs Association Limited (UWEAL), ACCESS! focal point institution in Uganda is a non governmental organization whose vision is to address gender disparities by enhancing and empowering the economic status of women in Uganda. With 850 members spread across the country, UWEAL is considered to be a one-stop facilitator for women entrepreneurs and women professionals. At the local level, UWEAL is actively linked to related institutions, such as the Ugandan Manufacturers Association (UMA), the Private Sector Foundation (PSFU), the Ugandan Small Scale Industries Association (USSIA), the Uganda National chamber of commerce and Industry (UNCCI, membership payment pending).
